    The 2025 NEON Observing School will be hosted by the Hispanic Astronomical Center in Andalusia (CAHA), also known as the Calar Alto Observatory, on 2-14 February 2025. This school that is mainly funded by ORP provides hands-on observing experience on professional telescopes. During it the students will, together with an experienced tutor, go through all the steps from planning the observations to reducing and analysing the obtained data. For more information, read here

    The 12th IRAM millimeter interferometry school will be held in the week of November 18, 2024 at the IRAM headquarters (Grenoble, France).

    The 2024 NEON Observing School will be hosted by the National Observatory of Athens, Greece, from October 13 to October 25, 2024. Mainly funded by ORP, the school will provide hands-on observing experience on professional telescopes. During this period, the students will go through, together with an experienced tutor, all the steps from planning the observations to reducing and analysing the obtained data.

    The 10th edition of the European Radio Interferometry School will be held in Granada, Spain, from Monday, September 30th to Friday, October 4th, 2024. 

     

    ERIS aims to provide a comprehensive overview of radio interferometry, covering fundamentals, data processing, and analysis techniques, along with practical hands-on sessions. The lectures and tutorials will cover the following topics:

    • Calibration and imaging of interferometry data (continuum, spectral line, and polarization)
